About
I have been an artist, all my life I was always intrigued with beauty around me, love to sit and look at the clouds and figure out the shapes. I started out as a watercolor artist which I love, but as I move to Florida. I found that acrylics were intriguing me. I was seeing a lot of different things that could be done with texture and color so I moved into more of an acrylic base with textures in my paintings.
I love acrylic but wanted to add more oil on top just for some more vibrancy , so I like to work in a lot of different mediums. I've had extensive training in different art forms . I attended Cass school of design, owned an antique , jewelry business as a certified GIA trained jeweler and designed jewelry. I spent many years with Kimball Jenkins art school in N.h. Training under Sylvia Brothos. I have been in many group shows , as well as solitary shows as the featured Artist. I have received many awards over the years. In New Hampshire I was established as a commission Artist. my largest accomplishment was a 9' x 16' painting for the town of Chichester historical society, which hangs in their town hall to this day .
After moving to Florida in 2019, my style shifted , inspired by the beauty of Florida . The plants, birds, the sun, the sky, the sea it all just makes me want to paint it.
